Growth in Gratitude

I made a snap decision to start blogging again. I love my life but have been struggling with some decisions...sort of a ¨happiness vs. responsibility¨ thing, but one thing I know about myself is that I'm easily inspired by positivity. Don't get me wrong, I'm VERY, VERY susceptible to being dragged down be negativity, but when I surround myself with reminders that I can succeed, I feel that it's true, and I feel propelled into action. What created this spark to start blogging again? Well, the other day, my friend Melissa (founder of a fab company that makes natural, organic personal care and cleaning products, for which I am an Independent Wellness Guide -- my web site is www.radiantlyyou.com/kelly) posted some information about the planner she uses to map out her dreams and goals for the following year. That's probably partially why her direct sales company, which she built from the ground up, has grown 1002% in the last year. (That's not a typo, BTW. ONE THOUSAND TWO PERCENT in the last year!) As I mentioned, I seek to surround myself with positivity, and my mom begs me for Christmas gift ideas, so I sent her a link to the planner and told her that I was intrigued by the system, which was actually very affordable. She must have bought it right away because she started forwarding me emails she was getting from the company, and I discovered that the founder of that company, Leonie Dawson, has a YouTube channel full of inspirational videos. I've experienced a lot of highs and lows on the business front over the last year or so, and watching a few of the videos gave me a fresh burst of energy. I think what happened then was that I checked out the planners online is that I saw that I could sign up to be an affiliate, and on that page one of the items you have to fill in is what your web site is. I thought, ¨Hey, I don't have a web site. I should get one.¨ And so here I am again, blogging. And then there's the name of my new blog, but I guess I'll have to get to that later, as my son just woke up... :)
